For your consideration we are presenting for sale an AMAZING vintage table lamp that was designed by Tye of California. The lamp dates back to the 50s. The base is ceramic, and it is hand-painted. It has a pyramid-like shape to it, and at each of the four corners, there appears a modernist abstract figure wrapped around where the sides meet - three are playing instruments, while the fourth appears to be singing from a book in his outstretch arms. It\'s very unusual, and very cool! Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 22\" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket). The square base measures 5.5\" x 5.5\". Each ofthe four sides measures approx. 4.75\" wide at the bottom, and tapers to approx. 1.5\" at the top. Condition: Excellent! - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in great shape - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. As with allvintage lighting, we\'d still recommend having it checked prior to long-term use. The lamp is infully-functioning, working order. No shade - that\'ll be left up to the winning purchaser to provide. The lamp is signed \"Tye\" at the bottom of the back side of the base.
