Item Description:
This vintage Navajo / Ute basket tray plaque has a four human figuer\'s with kiva steps at the edge and at the center of the basket. The basket measures 11 3/4 inches across. It has been woven in the weave and shape traditional with ceremonial wedding baskets. The materials are the traditional sumac, with dyed sumac for the dark brown. It also has the traditional herringbone stitch at the border of the basket. This basket is in excellent condition.
