Up for sale is a large and magnificent vintage gilt sterling silver, rhinestone, and faux pearl figural brooch by Nettie Rosenstein. This is a piece I have not seen before. It depicts a take on the imperial Russian eagle and measures approx 3\" x 2 3/4\". It is signed \"NETTIE ROSENSTEIN STERLING\" on the underside. There is a fair amount of wear to the pearl. In the description it states this is a \"take\" on the Russian imperial eagle. If you compare the two, they are extremely similar EXCEPT that the Russian eagle has two heads. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS AN INTERPRETATION ON THE EAGLE AND IS NOT IDENTICAL TO THE ACTUAL CREST. THANK YOU!
