This sale is for a gorgeous antique Shelley porcelain Art Nouveau vase. It is a rich cobalt blue with a luster glaze. I believe this design is called Japanese Fruit and has orange to yellow shaded fruit with silvery blue leaves.It has a pale blue interior and base. It measures 5 1/4\" tall, 1 1/2\" across the mouth and 1 5/8\" across the base. It has the Shelley England mark which I believe dates it to circa 1935-1935. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.There is a little light wear on the blue glaze on the collar of the vase but this is quite minorThere are 3 marks on the base which may have come from having had pads on it. They may come off with the right cleaner as it almost looks like a glue. This is very minor however and under the base. Be sure to enlarge the photos to see the detail.
