This is an amazing Vintage Water Skiing Trophy from c.1950s Los Angeles, California. It is made of a wood base (walnut, I think) and features a brass male figure and a bronze torch.It measures approx. 8\" tall x 6\" wide x 4\" deep.

The bottom has the phone number of the maker, HR 2-7156. \"Exchange\" phone numbers were phased out at the end of the 1950s in L.A. So judging by that, the design, and the patina, I\'d say it\'s c.1950s.

This trophy is in very good condition, but does show expected wear consistent with age. The brass patina on the figure is greened and pitted. Basically, it looks as it does in the photos…
