This is a fantastic one of a kind find! It has been part of a large Snoopy collection for over 30 years. Simon Simple Originalsproduced many great items for United Features Syndicate in the 1960\'s and 70\'s with the Peanuts characters. They made many different metal pin backs with great sayings to promote.
What you are buying is a sample of the pin backs, 4 giant 6\" and12 of the 1-1/2\"that were sold in the Fall of 1969 into 1970. There is a sales flyer sheet, 17\" by 22\", two sided, with these pin backs pictured and how much they cost tothe store that sold them. A sales person for Simon Simple would go into, Woolsworth, Ben Franklin, JCPenney, etc. and show this sheet with all the products and take orders from the stores. These buttons are all new. No rust,dents, stains, fadingor scuffs. The 6\" buttons have never been folded out on the back. There is one of the 6\" buttons that is different from one pictured on the sales flyer.
The set comes in a glass top, dust proofdisplay case.
