VINTAGE ADIDAS FORMEL 1RUNNING SHOES

In 1978 Adidasconceived a sophisticated and innovative running sneaker that revolutionizedthe way soles were built: the FORMEL 1. Its characteristic sole, longerthan that of usual running shoes, was later applied to other models such as theMarathon 80 and the Marathon Trainer. The upper was nylon and suede, while theU-Box lacing support was designed for a faster start. The Formel 1 was worn bythe best athletes at the 1980 Olympic Games and the Athletics WorldChampionships. Trivia: Sylvester Stallone used them in the first Rocky movie;he wears them in the scene where he trains in the streets of NY.

You can now offer onsuch a fantastic pair of FORMEL 1, it’s the reissue from 2003, as you’dbe hard pressed to find an original pair from the 1970’s, and this is as goodas it gets because this pair is in absolute MINT CONDITION, just checkout the pictures, with the only matter worth noting some slight discolorationon the suede parts and insoles.

The size is a UK10.5, US 11, FR 45 1/3, and JP 290, with the outsoles 31.8 cm long and 10.5cm wide. Please note that I do not accept any returns due to sizing!

The color is a niceblue with the stripes in the same color, looks really cool!

The shoes were ‘MADE IN VIETNAM’.
