Here we have a nice example of a 100% original Oliver & Gruber GLOWURM bait circa 1921.This is not one of those modern repaints of the old raw wood bodies that have been flooding the market, many of them having appeared on and selling for $50-$65+ just recently.The original Glowurmbaits were very short-lived, onlyhaving beenmade for about 2 years or so (early 1920s) in the basement of a WA state mental hospital. The paint jobs on each and every lure is slightly different, as they were apparently hand-painted by the patients of the mental hospital late at night. This particular bait came directly out of a collection in WA state many years ago. *** NOTE: I am including an ORIGINAL (not a copy) of the c.1921 dealer sheet for this lure. This paper item is in EXCELLENT overall condition, given that it\'s approx. 95 years old! Paper was safely stored away over all of these years.
