Signed 1970 David Kaplan Chalkware Judaica. This is a man wearing a red vest with chain, grey trousers, and a hat.
This belonged to my grandparent\'s. They had many of his pieces. The base appears to have been cracked or damaged at some time, and has been repaired. See photos for the several blemishes.
This is a wonderful piece of Judaica and is vintage Chalkware piece. Chalkware is a form of cast plaster and is prone to chipping, mold, and paint flaking if exposed to overly damp conditions, but is easily repaired.
