RARE Vintage German (Dresden??) Porcelain Swan and Cherub Underlit Lamp:

This beautiful unusual underlit porcelain figurine lamp was very hard to name,
because it is very hard to find. I couldn\'t find it after hours of
looking and web searching. Finally I found something similar, yet different and
also uncertain about the correct name. There are no marks that I can get to without
taking it apart. It also needs cleaned more thoroughly. While trying
to clean it, I barely tapped one cherub on the inside of the sink and it broke
with a piece of the wing off with the cherub attached. Luckily it was a clean break
and was easily repaired and unnoticeable (See last 2 photos). Other than that, there are no chips or flea bites,
rare for this type and age of porcelain. The light and switch works properly.
It measures 11\" high, 11\" long at base, 12 1/2\" long at porcelain and 7 1/4\" wide
at base. The bottom seems to be a base metal covered with a brass paint.
The leaves, flowers etc. are gilted with gold.
