For your all-year-long Hallowe\'en loving pleasure we are proud to present anoutstanding RARE vintage Hallowe\'en sewn crepe paper party hat. This is onethat Ziz has never seen before and she has seen a lot!🎃This is a large piece measuring 15” tall x 11” wide (when flat.) This hat’ssize and bright color make it a very showy decoration or accessory and it couldbe displayed on a life-sized mannequin or atop a larger German or American-madeJack o\' Lantern. The hat is made from crepe paper and is completely lined with a cream-coloredwax-type paper. This hat has machine-sewn edging and a FRIGHTfully fabulous illustrationof an oh-so-creepy clown and a smiling Jack o\' Lantern. The body of the hat isorange and it is trimmed in black crepe paper. At the top is an attractivecrepe paper pom pom. This festooning is completely original as is the entirepiece. Ziz has been collecting and sharing pieces of Hallowe\'en history for many yearsnow and she has never before seen a hat like this one. It does have somefolds, a little crepe paper loss particularly at the tip, and a few small areasof light discoloration which appear to be small water marks. The hat isunmarked. When looking into the interior, we see a 4” tear to the interior paper– but the area is complete and this does not detract. Ziz has always had a fascination with party decorations from this era. Sheimagines adult parties with guests arriving in costume and/or in paper hatssuch as this one, elaborate table spreads, decorations and hosts and/orhostesses serving cocktails while games are played and fun was had by all. By the way, this is an adult-sized hat.
