Head is separated from the stem. There appear to be no white nubs (posts) for the head to mount to. They appear to have been malformed from the factory. I see no evidence of them breaking or snapping off. There is a smooth depression (concave) in the white sleeve where the posts should be. It would be an easy fix for an experienced Pez doctor. I am convinced of the authenticity of the pieces belonging together, just not sure how it happened.Sleeve spring works very well. Really a gem of a peice after the head is reattached. No scratches or paint problems. The pictures are taken with and without flash. No matter how I tried, I could not get a detailed close up of the missing posts.
