From the first half of the 20th Century, this is a very rare find....Sterling Silver Overlay with Clear Glass underneath - a trivet or \"hot plate\" made by Tiffany & Co. (marked on the side (see pictures). This is vintage, and therefore, not brand new. There are some minor surface scratches from occasional use, and a monogram in the center. Also, there are two divots out of the bottom side of the glass (pieces that chipped off, however they are very smooth - no sharpness... and they can only be seen when looking at the underside of the trivet).... I have included close-up pictures, so please examine these. The trivet has tarnish, and would polish up nicely, I\'m sure, but I will leave all cleaning and polishing to the buyer, as I prefer to present items in as-found condition. This is a beautiful Tiffany piece and a rare pattern.The mark on the side reads \"Tiffany & Co. 17917 Makers 6002 Sterling Silver 925-1000 M 8 IN.\"The trivet is 8 inches in diameter.Please look at the pictures and ask questions before offerding.
