This is a very hard to find USA pottery cake plate and lid, made to look like a cake itself! ( I was informed by a website dedicated to Mcoy Pottery that this is not McCoy however I seen another one like this that the owner lists as McCoy so i\'m not sure.)The lid is adorned with strawberries which are also the handle. It is in near perfect condition with only a very slight scuff of paint on the bottom rim of the lid, a slight chip of paint on the tip of a leaf and slight crazing which comes with age. (See last 2 photos)This piece has been well preserved and is an absolute eye catcher ! It is a perfect addition to your collection and is hard to top in uniqueness! The plate is 9 3/4\" in diameter. The lid stands at 3\" depth and height of lid including strawberries is roughly 5 1/4\".
