We are pleased to offer for your consideration a magnificent cuff bracelet made of heavy gauge sterling silver ingot at the Hopicrafts shop by the Sekaquaptewa brothers, Wayne and Emory. Using the overlay technique, it shows two dancing kokopelli plus other Hopi symbols.

The Hopicrafts shop was a privately owned enterprise striving to promote the interests of Hopi silver craftsmen. It was founded by Wayne (1923-1979) and Emory (1928-2007) Sekaquaptewa, who initially made jewelry in the back room and sold it in the front room. Their hallmark was a conjoined \"hc\" plus their last name stamped into the silver. Their shop was founded in 1961 and closed in 1983, shortly after Wayne’s death.

Among the innovations of the Hopicrafts shop were the texturing of the matte black background, and the final polishing of the silver to a satin finish rather than the normal shiny one. This bracelet, although it is 33 years old or more incorporates both these enhancements.

The bracelet weighs 59.5 grams. Its inner circumference is 5 3/8\" and the gap is 7/8\", for a total inner circumference of 6 1/4\". The inside dimensions are 2 1/16\" long and 1 5/8\" wide. The width is 1 1/8\" and the thickness is about 1/16\". Please check to be sure your wrist is compatible with these measurements.

The condition is excellent; there are no scratches, dents nor any blemishes. There are some areas of patina or tarnish, depending on your viewpoint. It has not been cleaned or polished. Please examine the pictures carefully as they are an integral part of the description.
