Ray Cole Hand Painted Silk Suit DressWonderful 1980\'s 2-piece outfit was designed/made by Ray Cole a New Orleans Textile artist. He started his career in New Orleans using French dyes to design and make dresses and jackets which he sold in his boutique. Soon his collections were worn by actresses, performers and socialites around the country. In the early 80\'s he was awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts. His works are vibrant and bold...Slip over dress: flat from sleeve tip to sleeve tip, across neckline 28\", flat across chest arm pit to arm pit 21\", flat across drop waist (where fabric changes) 21.5\", 7\" side slit and length down the back 41\".Jacket:flat from sleeve tip to sleeve tip, across neckline 45\",flat across back arm pit to arm pit 40\" and 40\" long down the back.
