Unusual bar collectible that would make a great a gift….

Very rare Yaleuniversity hand carved bulldog mascot showing a wonderful patina from age andactual use

The original paint is stillin evidence somewhat strong with age appropriate wear considering

that this wasan alcohol dispenser and that thespirits could have played much havoc to theoriginal finish

The cork has a littlebit missing from it as seen in my photo by its edge

The bulldog carving has no chips, cracks orrepairs

You can see the hats button finial on top alongside the pouring spout

I’m uncertain of this liquor bottle dispenser’s actual agebut it appears to be defiantly

From the 1900’s and was found with a small pamphletfrom 1884 titled:

THE STATISTICS FOR THECLASS OF EIGHTY-FOUR, YALE COLLEGE

Approx. Measurements: 6-1/4\" Long - Tall ( Hat to tube insert ) x 2-1/2\" Deep x 2\" Wide ( Head )
