FOR saleWe are offering this beautiful Benziger Brothers Monstrance that stands 25\" high which includes the Luna which will hold 2 1/2\" host. This piece featured in the 1921 Benziger Brothers catalog.According to our research Benziger Brothers discontinued production of (non-book) religious items in the 1930s. BENZIGER BROTHERS MONTRANCES ARE RARE AND HARD TO FIND. WE\'VE NEVER SEEN ONE BEFORE.

It has elegant Art Nouveau detailing with grapes, vines, white stones surrounding the Luna and a cross at the top of the starburst. From the last catalogs, it appears this is 24K plated. We have found Benziger Brothers chalices with this same design in 24K over sterling silver.

The glass in the Monstrance and Luna are fully intact with NO chips or breaks. This Monstrance is in EXCELLENT to MINT condition! It is truly a must see piece!

We\'re leaving this in as-found condition and have only lightly cleaned the item for photographic purposes.
