Up for sale with is a Rare c1740 early Georgian Period Dublin Irish Sterling Silver Salver Tray or Decanter BottleStand. The Salver features a very nice Shell and Scroll raised border and three wonderful little feet. The Tray also features very ornate hand etched patterns to the face and Crown Armorial whichI believe mightdenote some line of the Royal Family at the time, well worth looking into. The Salver is Hallmarked as seen, I believe the Hallmarks are for John Moore whose working Dates were 1724-1767 and whom specialized in making Salvers.

The Salver Tray is in excellent condition with only some minor dint marks and scratches to the face, consistent with the early age. The Salver is also a nice size for display or a multitude of modern uses from a Decanter or Wine BottleStand to a Tea or Coffee Pot trivet,measuring9 inches across overall or6-3/4 inches across the actual serving area and1-1/4 inches tall. The Salver is nice thick Solid Silver throughout weighing370 grams.

You do not see much Irish Silver of this age come up for sale, especially not Salvers as fine as this, don\'t miss out, as I am sure you will only regret it ! The Bottle is shown only as a use suggestion andof course not included.
