Offered is a pair ofvery old Germany paper mache\' candy containers

Mr. and Mrs.

The containers arepainted on paper mache with the Mrs. wearing her apron and the Mr. toting his pipe.

They both have Glass Eyes

Heads lift off to insert candies inside (see last pic)

Each measures approx. 9-1/2\" tall

Mr. is marked on the bottom, GERMANY

The boxes are sold as found, with seam splits and wear in areas, the Mr. has a child\'sname written on bottom witheither whitechalk or crayon.We suppose the seams could be glued and the paint areas repainted, but we prefer to leave them in their original found condition
