NOS Tubes: \"NOS\" is a search term many buyers use on to search for vintage tubes.
This is a widely criticized word that many electronics experts and hobbyists \\ enthusiasts
do not like to hear unless the item is brand new, sealed in the box. When it comes to listing as a seller, sometimes to match your product with a buyer who may be looking for your item, but doesn\'t
always know the proper terms to search, you must use the terminology most used by the buyer for the product they are looking for.Many tube buyers only know vintage tubes by the term \"NOS\" and will not type \"vintage\" when searching for what they are looking for.
Therefore, when we list \"NOS\" in the title, we are only describing a vintage tube. When a tube is new in box, we will combine that with the term \"NIB\", or \"New In Box\".
We will also list that the item is \"new in box\", in the description, or \"new without box\".
When a tube is not new or we are unable to verify it\'s use, but still tests like new, we will list \"tests like new\", or tests in NOS range in the description. We hope this clears up the title term NOS for some buyers who have or will inquire about this.

We often are questioned as to why we sometimes do not list test numbers and results.
There is a good reason for this. First, we test all of our tubes, in both a calibrated tube tester, and guitar and vocal preamplifiers.
Our testing practices are stringent, and have given us 10 years of buyer satisfaction in tube sales. On certain tubes that are used for hi-fi applications, we will list our numbers to show that the triodes are not overtly out of balance,
or we will also list our test numbers when they have been verified by multiple sources including our own. Still we cannot guarantee exact test results or any test results, under any circumstances.
This is due to the tube selling community on being taken advantage of for partial refunds by unscrupulous buyers.
This has never happened to us, but has happened to many of our competitors.
Just like with any market, sellers must adapt to circumstances or potential circumstances. Performance Of Vintage Items:
We cannot guarantee a vintage item will perform the same with or in your equipment as it did in ours, or that your tester will test tubes the same as ours did.
It is just too much of a grey area to be able to guarantee. All vintage items are sold as is.
We list our items honestly and accurately as possible, and are unable to know how a vintage item has been used before accepting a return.
As a result, we have to decide when to accept a return, and as a general rule we only accept returns on non-vintage or unused items.
