Overall condition of leaflets:
- The cardstock that the patterns are printed on show varying degrees of aging with some yellowing. Some appear surprisingly fresh! - Non-tear 3-ring clear plastic strips have been added to each leaflet so that I could store them in 3-ring binders. The binders are not included in this listing. But they are ready to be placed in your binder for easy access.
I\'ve been asked if the plastic strips are removable: No, consider them permanent. I\'m sure they would tear the paper if you tried to remove them. I\'ve been asked if the plastic strips are archivally safe: No. I realize now that over the past 10, 20, 30 years that the cardstock is starting to yellow underneath. The cardstock on all of the older patterns has started to age but it is also noticeable under the strips. It sure was a super-neat and convenient way to store my patterns at the time....
The Prairie Schooler went out of business early in 2016. Their designs are now out-of-print.From a smoke-free and pet-free home. From my personal collection although most have never been stitched.
