Anri Helmut Diller famed carver/artist rare, very collectible wood carving of a beautiful brindle greyhound or whippet. The detail is beautiful. Diller lived from 1911-1984 and was one of the most prominent of the Anri artists. He was renowned for his designs of horses and dogs for the House of Anri. He also did works in bronze. His works are still featured in sales all over the world.

He did a collection of dogs. I\'ve never seen another his carving of greyhounds. He catches the alert posture of the greyhound and the darling face. (I own two greyhounds and love the breed).

I have had this statue for many years. It is in beautiful condition with a gorgeous patina. This is a rare and beautiful find.
