Up for your consideration isan amazing Ammolitebracelet made of solid sterling silver. It featuresa 9 ct. 20x15mm (12mm=1/2\") free form Ammolite gem. The seller of this gem had notlistedany gradebut I wouldsay it is an \" AA\" grade stone. The surface of this stone is flat and smooth as glass.This gem brightly flashes red, orange, green and blue, all depending on the angle the light hits the surface of the Ammolite.

The sterling silver bracelet portion is a vintage solid sterling silver piece, made by a well known sterling silver manufacturer, Reed and Barton. I like working with these bracelets because of their quality and because I\'m certain they are true sterling silver. By purchasing quality vintage sterling bracelets and transforming them into modern Ammolite pieces it saves me many hours involved in making a bracelet and allows me to sell the \"new bracelet\" at a reasonable price. The bracelet portion is stamped sterling and all my work on top of the bracelet is solid sterling as well. This bracelet is 19 grams and the Ammolite is a nice size stone for a bracelet. I would call this a medium to large size with an overall size of 7\"....this includes the 11/4\" opening in the bracelet-- the size can be adjusted to a degree by opening or closing the bracelets opening.The natural Ammolite in this piece of jewelry came from Alberta, Canada. I purchased it from a very experienced cutter and finisher of Ammolite, a real artisan who takes pride in turning out only high quality gems. This Ammolite is set in sterling silver on a solid sterling silver bracelet .
