This small elegant Art Deco bronze SCULPTURE by Austrian RICHARD ROHAC features two GIRAFFE figures running. They are set on a circular base with a diameter of 1 3/8\". The GIRAFFEs are approximately 3 1/2\" tall, 4 1/8\" wide and 3/4\" deep. It weighs a shade over 3oz. Thesculpture is in excellent condition. The patina is a rich dark chocolate brown with polished gold highlighted areas.
Rohac (1906-1956) worked at the iconic Hagenauer WERKSTATTE (Workshop) before setting off on his own. I am not certain of the date of this sculpture. It is marked AUSTRIA with reversed R\'s in a square (this is quite faint).
