ROBERT OSBORN 1984 VICTORIAN HOUSE - FERNDALE CA 9X11 PHOTOGRAPH - HOLIDAY SALE:
$35.00

The year is winding down and it\'s now time to clear the slate and start up fresh in 2015. I will be relisting and selling out well over 100 photographs over the following days and weeks at never before pricing.

As we close out 2014, if you haven\'t already...please view my Kickstarter project that is going through Jan 5th. At the very least you will see a video of yours truly.

2015 will be a year for me to show the world my photography that started back in the 1960\'s. Maybe by age 70 I will be better known as a photographer than a dealer :) I will also be launching a new website with links of course to my sales and in time will have over 400 photographs to view.

Robert Osborn might be as unknown to you as was Millea, Ryuijie, Sexton, or Gilpin was to me 35+ years ago. If you have been in my gallery in Monterey then you have seen his images on display and know his quality.

Born in 1938, Osborn was in the publishing business in Southern California in the 1970/80\'s. Well known in the 70/80\'s for his magazines that was geared towards the BMX bike craze. He has always enjoyed photography, but it wasn\'t until the late 1970\'s that he dove in completely.

Most of his work is 4\"x5\" and I have to say his print quality is some of the best you will ever see. I can\'t say this about many photographers, but Osborn\'s quality is in the same league as Adams or Sexton. One day in the early 1990\'s, while working in his Carmel, Ca. darkroom, Osborn just gave up photography, it just wasn\'t what he wanted to do anymore, and he quit cold turkey! Within days he gave away his darkroom equipment and put his cameras up for sale. Since the 1990 he has gone back to bikes, but this time he spends his days in the Monterey area restoring and building custom motorcycles. Years ago I purchase his entire archive, his style and diversity are simple put, incredible!

Signed just under the image, photo was professionally mounted/matted to 16\"x20\" archival museum board.

You will not be disappointed with any of Osborn\'s work, that I know!

Fixed $8.00 shipping/ins. within the USA. If shipped within California please add 7.50% sales tax.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed with this photograph. You may return it within 14 days for a refund (less shipping).

Please note that the actual image size may be different than the paper size listed above as this darkroom made photograph was handmade by the artist and may have required some custom cropping or trimming.
