For your consideration is a rare vintage 14K gold Rolex \"Bombe\" ref. 6090 automatic dress watch. Ca. \'52. The reference number and serial numbers between the lugs are no longer visible as happens from time to time on rare gold vintage watches of 60 years or more from age.

The dial is original in amazing in a white honey comb pattern with raised gold arrow hour markers and gold sword hands. As can be seen \"Officially\" is written in rare red color. The 5 minute dots and (3) arrow markers and the hour and minute hands appear to have been nicely relumed at some point in its history. The officially in red white honey comb dial is quite amazing.

The case is in solid 14K gold with rare twisted lugs, gold Rolex crown and screw down case back. The back has an engraved monogram and it appears this was gift given by Rolex to one of their employees for 10 years of service! It is quite unusual to find a Rolex watch with a monogram given from Rolex to one of their own.

The movement is a high grade Rolex automatic movement. The movement appears clean and running very strong. Telling time when checked after a day.
