Being offered on this sale is a gorgeous vase made by Rosenthal China, Selb, Bavaria, Germany, on their Bahnhof factory. It is executed in Art Deco style. It has magnificent horn-onion neck shape. It is footed. Vase is of blank white background decorated from its front with stylish painting of pheasant. Her main body is in brown and long tail is in blue. Head is in blue and red with black eyes. Bird is perching on a tree branch or vine painted in brownish and greenish tones. Scattered vine pieces are painted all over surface. Vase has gold trim at the opening and gold band on the base.  Looks splendid. It is marked on the backside with standard Rosenthal Bahnhof Selb factory mark in green dating production of 1950. Other marking is number 50 written in red on the backside. We do not know the name of artist who created this beautiful piece of art.
