Here is a wonderful Collectible ROYAL DOULTON BUNNYKINS \"MRS. COLLECTOR\", DB335, LIMITED EDITION NO. 2449/2500 2005 WITH BOX!! This is a Special Edition piece as stated on the bottom \"Celebrating 25 Years of the Royal Doulton International Collectors Club 1980 - 2005\". Its height is around 4-1/4\" x 4-1/2\" long x 3-1/4\" wide and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with nary a flaw in sight! Here we have Mrs. Collector sitting in an orange upholstered chair while looking up her new figurine, Nurse Bunnykins, in her Bunnykins Guide Book. Beside her is a table covered with a Bunnykins tablecloth on which sit her Bunnykins teapot, tea cup & saucer, pastry goodie and a lamp with a blue lampshade! You\'ll note that she is wearing her Bunnykins slippers on her pink carpeting too. The bottom bears the Royal Doulton Bunnykins hallmarks as well as the Limited Edition No. 2449 of a total of 2500 made in 2005!! There is some very faint residue of a previous price tag on the bottom but you can hardly see it. This is such a charming item as I wonder if Mrs. Collector will find this very piece of herselfin her Bunnykins Guide Book!!!
The cost of shipping this item to the USA by Tracked Packet which includes a Tracking Number and Insurance of up to $100.00, will be about $15.50 US because of the box. If the actual cost should be significantly less, I will refund to you the difference. If it is more, I will absorb the extra cost. If you plan to purchase something in order to resell it, you will probably want to buy something in the best/mint condition you can for the cheapest price. However, if the item is RARE and HARD-TO-FIND, a savvy collector may be willing to buy one that is less than perfect in order to complete their collection. A person interested in the Vintage or Antique Market will already have a sense that Perfect Items are like a miracle or just too good to be true, in other words, possible reproductions or fakes.
None of us is perfect. You wouldn’t toss a friend aside because of a flaw or two. The same goes for buying items you LOVE to have or to look at. When I consider buying a flawed item, I ask myself if I could live without it or if it would bring me some measure of happiness because I have it, warts and all! Some of you will disagree with me but, at least, this gives you something to ponder!!!
