DescriptionFOR SALE is this fabulous porcelain whisky decanter (empty) made by Royal Doulton England for Whyte & MacKay, Glascow Scotland in 1979 by Artist John Tongue (signed on base). Whyte & Mackay commissioned Royal Doulton to produce a series of Birds of Prey, I am trying to find out how many birds were in this series, I presently have a collection of 6. He is a Merlin Falcon and what a magnificent sculpture he is, standing at approx 16cm high x 9cm across. He is part of a collection of these birds , a great gift or an addition, or a start to your collection! I imported this bird recently from the UK and paid a substantial amount for him. There are cheaper ones on UK, but the postage is much higher than mine.
