As the name implies, Romany Sue reflects the popular interest in gypsies at the time this piece was conceived, also seen in the paintings of Augustus John and best selling records. This gloriously attired romany - all lilac hues and floral motifs across her hat, shawl, apron, and full length dress - has baskets of brightly colored crocuses to sell. Romany Sue is a Royal Doulton classic brought vividly back to life. The original figure was designed by Leslie Harradine and produced from 1936 to 1949.

Excellent condition --sale does not include the original box or the certificate of authenticity-- there are no chips or breaks.
