This is the Royal Doulton character jug/toby jug of The Red Queen.This jug was modeled by William K Harper and hand painted in England.The production number is D 6777 1987.This character jug was mistakenly named The Red Queen,a character from the Lewis Carol novel,Through The Looking Glass,but is actually based on the queen of hearts from Alice\'s Adventures in Wonderland.She was the first jug in the Alice in Wonderland Series.It is approx. 7 1/2\" tall and 8\" wide.It has one thin chip in the back which is fortunately not very minimally noticeable.Please email me if any questions.
