This listing is a Royal Doulton Seriesware Jug. D3757. From the Under the Greenwood Tree Series. 1914-1939. Robin Hood The Friend of the Poor.
Rare early oval shaped jug.
Condition. Used. In good overall condition. No chips or restoration. There is crazing typical of its age and type. There is a possible small crack in the base which cannot be viewed when displayed, see photo 5. There are a couple of minor scratches in the glaze on the handle. Damage to Seriesware is not uncommon, emailed enquiries are welcome and priced accordingly.
The jug measures 16.5cm tall and 15cm wide including the handle. It weighs 500 grams.
