Original 1940 Royal Doulton bulldog figurine draped in the Union Jack Flag. It measures 3 1/2\" long x 2 1/4\" tall x 2 \" at the widest. The back stamp confirms the age and is numbered Rd No (registration Number) 645658. He bears a 13 indicating a production date of 1940. It was originally designed by Charles Noke, stamped Made in England. This bulldog is without defects or paint loss. The colors are bright and the base stamps are proper for the age and authenticity. My pictures show some light reflections but there is no paint loss. This figurine was purchased from the Long Island N.Y. estate of a 105 year old english lady, and is definitely an original in spectacular condition.
