The Julia chintz pattern was introduced by Royal Winton in the 1930\'s. The beautiful chintz pattern has cerise, yellow, and pink tea roses decorated with green leaves. It also has sprays of blue flowers and deep pink briar roses. All the flowers are on a green background that outlines tiny white flowers. So very striking!!
The Ascot-shaped Julia chintz plate is in excellent condition. It has no chips, hairlines, repairs, stains, or crazing. The gold trim does not have any signs of wear.The straight line backstamp says: Royal Winton, GRIMWADES, MADE IN ENGLAND, capital \"A\", pattern name: JULIA, #109.
