RUSSIAN 84 SILVER COVERED CUP/TANKARD, MOSKOW, 1854:

This exquisite Russian covered cup or tankard, a recent estate purchase,bears the Moskow (Moscow) town mark, the initials A.K. and the year, 1854,along with a mark resembling ee. It isdecorated in high relief on a Niello field, its prominent floral and vinedesign highlighted with a gold wash. Theinterior of the cup and the lid also have a gold wash. This vessel is in excellent condition andmeasures just over 5 ½ inches tall, including the finial. It weighs 346.3 grams. Please see photographs which should beconsidered part of the description.
