Description: A very elegant and rare antique Russian made solid silver two part belt buckle. Beautifully crafted belt buckle decorated in intricate niello work with Russian wording. In Russian 84 Zolotniki grade silver which is .875 in fineness or 87.5% silver. With loops on the back for inserting belt. Please refer to condition report below.

Maker: Made in Russia. We cannot identify the maker from the hallmarks.

Hallmarks: Head symbol and 84 on both sections.

Year: Circa 1880.

Approximate weight: 29.7 grams total.

Approximate measurements: Fitted together; Length 8.1 cm and Width 6.8 cm.

Condition: Has a small piece missing from the bottom of left side (when looking face on). Please look at second photograph for this.
