RUSSIAN IMPERIAL SHASHKA (CHECHEN REGION)
WITH ETCHED BLADE AND HORN GRIP, 19th CEN.
For sale is a very nice Russian (Chechen Region, Caucasian) shashka with etched blade. The scabbard is of wood covered with dark brown leather. The fittings are of low grade silver. The grip is made of horn.. The width of the blade by the grip is 1 1/4 inches (3,2 cm), blade length is 31 1/2 inches (80 cm), full length in scabbard is 38 1/4 inches (97,2 cm). Overall very good condition.
