Was used from 1850's through the 1st world war. Best quality, made totally close to original with CORRECT strap and material with correct silver tassels!
Made specially for shashkas and swords, or reenactment of the First World War period & earlier.The Sword knot can be used for Gold Weapons "For Bravery" & St. Georg weapons - for dragoon & cossack shashka exept Guard, Caucasian shashka, cavalry & infantry sword. Gold weapons "For bravery" was the State Order weapons since 1807 to 1917. Were awarded persons for acts of personal bravery, courage & dedication.Ribbon: orange with three black stripes, commonly called "George's Ribbon". It symbolises fire and gunpowder: the Russian "colors of military glory", and is also thought to be derived from the colours of the original Russian imperial coat of arms (black eagle on a golden background). It was subsequently associated to the colors of the Russian Guard units.
