He saved sailors from terrible storm, helped poor and saved innocents from the axe. He is the Holy patron of Russia, patron of Travelers, saves from flood and poverty.
This modern Russian Orthodox icon was painted by a modern professional church artist at the Russian town Yaroslavl (not far from Moscow) that is one of the main and old centers of the Russian icon painting.The icon was painted on a wooden board covered with levkas (gesso, special priming).The style is traditional and strictly follows antique canons of the icon painting.Made in Russia
