Sellingthis large Russian antique sterling silver ladle. This wonderful ladle is hallmarked on the backand I believe that the \"EK\" is Yemelyan Kuznetsov / Moscow 1886-1897? The assay mark is \"BC\" over \"1870\" and I think makes it one of three names (Viktor Vasilyevich) - ( Viktor Savinsky) or ( Vladimir Stepanovich Smirnov) Moscow ?This is a heavyladle 209 grams orabout6.71 troy ounces.I think the condition is good for a 120+ year old utensilshowing age evident wear withscratches, dings in bowl handle slightly bent alsofourfile marks on the top of the handle that someone must have tested for silver not knowing that the number \"84\" was the Russian number for silver and they should be an easy removal if one choose to do so.There areno monograms and it could use a good polishing.
