A portrait painter, designer, illustrator and watercolourist, Kirchner exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Francais. He is, however, best known
for work published in several Parisian magazines and particularly La Vie Parisienne. He was arguably the first and best known of the
artists who portrayed the female form in what may be called \"glamorous situations\" and his postcards adorned many a trench during World War 1.The framed size is 64 x 45cm and the unframed size is 45 x 27cm.
