Hello. Hereis a rare Victorian, Grecian pattern solid silver egg spoon with a gilded bowl. It has London hallmarks for 1868-9, date letter N, and a badly struck maker\'s mark of G?, along with two journeyman\'s marks, which seeing as this is a Chawner\'s pattern, makes me sure it is GA for George Adams. It measures128 mm long& weighs26.6 grams. Very good condition, gilding good, minor dink to side of bowl, appears almost unused.Script engraved monogram to front of handle. Very nice spoon.Please see photos to make your own assessment.
