Up for your consideration is a fabulous and extremely rare 10 Ft sofa Model # 2408-S & matching club chair Model # 2406-C (Both Labeled) by Adrian Pearsall, one of today\'s mostenduring designers of modern furniture, with a career that spanned more thanfifty years. Mr. Pearsall founded Craft Associates in 1952, and by the earlysixties, his innovative sculptured designs created a new look in Americanfurniture. The sofa & club chair, are in my opinion, in Excellent Conditionconsidering the age of these vintage pieces. The sofa has some areas of light fading to the brown/taupe fabric due to sunlight but no rips or tears(See Pics) and the club chair is in overall excellent condition. The sofa & club chair are made of solidwalnut and there are no chips, scratches or dings tothe wood. Both the sofa and the chair are tagged Craft Associates, Inc. Wilkes Barre, PA. with the original Manufacturer Label as well as the bottom sofa cushion. Reference: Adrian Pearsall sofa Model # 2408-S & chair Model # 2406-C. When I bought the set it still retained its original blue fabric and crazy purple, pink & blue tropical slip covers on the back pillows. Unfortunately, they were all too stained and ripped to salvage. I had the sofa & club chair reupholstered shortly after purchasing them and they have been part of my personal collection ever since. My wife & I had them in our Florida room/Sun room, which we rarely use, and the sun caused some light fading to the fabric on the sofa which was closest to the windows. Over the years I can honestly say that I actually sat on this furniture maybe a 100 times and the wife probably less...Lol.... Therefore, the sofa & club chair are squeaky clean and sturdy.
