Rare 18th Century Antique Mahogany Wood footed Box w/ 3 Drawers 1700\'s DescriptionThis antique footed box is from the 1700\'s. It is mahogany and carved beautifully. The hinge holding the top on is unattached on the left side. Of the three drawers the bottom one is missing the brass ring. The bottom mid drawer has what appears to be a straight cut that looks purposeful but am unsure. There is also some cracks and dings commensurate with its age. The bottom front carved panel [between the feet] is cracked on both sides but is firmly intact. It likely originated in New England. It is similar to larger ones with similar condition issues that I have seen at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Please view all the photos to see the detail of this wonderful antique box. It measures 20-1/4\'\' long 10-1/ 2\'\' wide. and is 12-1/8\'\' tall. The drawers vary slightly in measurement 17\'\' x 8\'\' and about 1-3/4\'\' deep .
