For sale is a mustard pot made by Tournai in the late 18th century. It is handpainted with a nice underglaze blue design called l\'anneau I think. Nice and simple but still a rare piece. Typical handle shape highlighted with a bit of blue. The lid has an opening in it for a spoon and a simple finial. This pot is in perfect condition with a small rim \"chip\" original to the making - it is glazed over. It is not marked underneath which is fairly normal on Tournay pieces of this period but has the typical green translucency, etc. The mustard pot and lid are 3.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter.
