RARE 1920\'S EGYPTIAN REVIVAL WINGED SPHINX BOUDIOR LAMP W MATCHING METAL SHADE:

This sale is for aincredible and rare 1920\'s Egyptian Revival winged Sphinx boudoir lamp. This lamp is very heavy and weighs about 9 1/2 lbs. I am not sure what it is made from but it is non magnetic on most of the lamp. The top crinkle finish section of the shade is magnetic. I would venture to say the lamp is spelter for the most part with a bronze / copper finish. The lamp is in very good condition with a unusual heavy metal matching shade. The sphinx is very finely detailed . It is fitted with a vintage Leviton fat boy lighting fixture and has two small red bulbs in it right now that give it a very exotic look when lit. The shade is lacey and ornate and very heavy. The lamp measures about 13\" tall. I have not seen a nicer lamp in this genre. The switch is very unique in that you must pull up the little ball to turn the lamp on. I have been unable to find another like this any where from to Google to Worthpoint, so I don\'t use the word rare loosely. Sold with ! Thanks for your offer and Good Luck!
