ARTIFACT:This is a rare circa 1920s lapel pin for Germany\'s Nordbayerischer Verkehrsflug GmbH airline. The airline flew only briefly from 1926, when it was set up as a supplement to Germany\'s primary carrier, Deutsche Luft Hansa AG-DLH, until 1931. The pin shows a lovely black bird in flight encircled by a blue ring.

VINTAGE:Circa 1920s.

SIZE:Approximately 5/8” height and 5/8” width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with “C” catch.

MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The pin shows some light wear with a few small spots of enamel missing.
