This sale is for a vintage 1940\'s Mickey Mouse tennis trophy. They still sponsor youth tennis tournaments now, but from the style of clothes on this Mickey, I would date it to the 40s. I bought from an old timer who used to work at Disneyland. Mickey and the ball are made form some type of composition material, and nicely hand painted.8 1/2\" tall x 10\" long overall. Rather life-size tennis ball, and life-size mouse... a cute notion. Probably would have had a brass plate with the winner\'s name, etc., if given out.Very cool and a rare item, boys and girls... good luck finding another.
