A beautiful ceramic bird sculpture as only Maddux of California can do them. This one happens to be a TV lamp, but beautiful on its own. Measures approx. 12\" long, 9\" high.

The ceramic part is in fine shape, no chips, cracks, hairlines. There is a teeny ding on the wing of the female, I think it probably was a bubble pop during firing. The lamp part works fine, the switch is good, the plasticsocket coverhas a crack, looks like it was glued back together once but its come apart again (see photo), and there is one area on the cord that has black electrical tape wrapped around it.

Incised into the underside of the lamp: Maddux of California, (copyright) 59, the number 835, and Made in USA.
